The SC Synod has a weekly electronic newsletter!

It's free, and you may opt-in or opt-out any time you wish! If you go on vacation and want to stop the newsletter for a few weeks, that's an option, also, that you may set at any time.

The link for signing up is below. Here's what you need to know:

1. Once you sign up, you will receive an e-mail asking you to "confirm" your subscription. When you do so, it will change your status from "pending" to "active" and you will begin receiving the e-news when the next issue goes out.

2. There are just a few questions to answer. They are easy, basic ones, such as, "Are you a church secretary?"
When you answer these questions, you help to build a database so that, for instance, if there is news that is really of use only to church secretaries, it can be sent to them without clogging up mailboxes of people who wouldn't have any use for that particular item.

3. One more note: One of the questions asks whether you get your e-mail in "text" or in "HTML." If you are not sure, think about this: when you open your e-mail, can you see different fonts and colors on your screen? If so, click "HTML." If your e-mail shows up as straight black and white text, then click "text."

That should do it. Thanks for your interest in the e-newsletter! Please sign up and take it for a test drive; if you decide you don't want it after all, you can unsubscribe at any point.
