An “Honorary” recognition (minimum donation of  $ 25.00) is a way to  pay tribute to a woman, man or young person in your congregation who is always there when needed and never finds an excuse to not help anyone in need, regardless of the situation.  Applications for Life Memberships to be sent Sharon Ganis, 1501 Cedar Grove Rd., Leesville, SC 29070.  The application has space for a citation (reason for recognition).  This will be on the honorary certificate. An “Honorary” certificate and pin will be sent to the requestor for presentation.  Checks should be made payable to SC WELCA and mailed with the application to Sharon.


A “Memorial” recognition (minimum donation of $ 25.00) is given in memory of a woman, man or young person who has passed on to the church triumphant and who had a positive impact on you or your church during their lifetime. The application has a space for a citation (reason for the memorial). This is an option and may be left blank if the requestor desires.  If provided, the citation will appear on the certificate. Applications for a Memorial should be mailed to Sharon Ganis 1501 Cedar Grove Rd., Leesville SC 29070.  A certificate will be mailed to the requestor for presentation.  Checks should be made payable to SC Women of the ELCA and mailed with the application to Sharon.


Proceeds from “Honorary and Memorials Program” will go to the SC Women of the ELCA scholarship fund at The Lutheran Theological Southern Seminary.
