LOVE PROJECTS
Bridge Building Camp: June 28-July 3,
2009
This annual summer event seeks to bridge the gap between generations as SC Lutheran Youth
spend 6 days sharing and building relationships with older adults. The camp is held in the
Midlands at Camp Kinard with Lowman Home residents.

Camp HUGG: July 12-17, 2009
(HUGG=Helping Under God's Grace: formerly
Camping with the Mentally Challenged)
This experience pairs up LCY youth with youth enrolled in special education programs in
Lexington area schools for a week of activities each summer at Camp Kinard.
